The North of Israel is being pounded by hundreds of rockets. Haaretz reports that 220,000 Israelis spent last night in their bomb shelters.According to the National Council of Young Israel:
Funds are needed to stock the shelters with food, mattresses, bedding, toys, etc. In general, the financial state for these families is not good, and the current violence adds to an already dire situation. Please make an emergency appeal this Shabbat. Funds can be sent to: Young Israel Charities, c/o National Council of Young Israel, New York, NY 10038.I recommend giving to whatever charities you can.
