Because Lieberman is one of the only honest and honorable politicians out there, it's sad to see him under terrible 'friendly fire' from his own party. But it makes sense. While the Lamont-New York Times-'netroots' onslaught continues, I realized that were another Democrat attacked this way the first person to come to a spirited defense would have been Lieberman.Sadly, there's no other Lieberman in the party - no moderate to stand up to the freak-fringe and say "You Are Hurting Us" - nobody there to help Lieberman.
