"Rabbi Brander mapped out areas that CJF intends to address: increasing the presence of Modern Orthodox educators at day schools across the country; focusing MSCDS on solving pressing issues, such as tuition prices at day schools; the confrontation between halakha (Jewish law) and modernity on cutting edge issues, like infertility; creating a dialogue between rabbis around the world, so as to spread the ideals of Yeshiva globally."
...and steal back some of the congregants from the Conservative shuls!
YU actually waking up and realizing that they've almost completely squandered any momentum the MO movement once had? Can Moshiach be far behind?
But seriously, I'm pretty impressed with this news, and look forward to someone else besides Chabad shluchim being willing to educate my kids in a day school.
