Not to criticize the profession of psychology, but do we really need a specific word or fear of clowns (Coulrophobia) - I mean, who doesn't fear clowns. That's sorta like defining 'fear of being poked in the eye with a sharp stick.' Although, it's true that I don't actually fear clowns as much as I distrust them.
