1913 Nickel Fetches Over $3.1M At Auction
Aside from the irony that five cents equals 3 million dollars (an interesting metaphysical question), I need to wonder yet again, how many people have devastatingly misplaced priorities. Yeah, the charitable amongst y'all could say that the dupes who overpaid by ten to the 6th are actually paying for HISTORY. And, as a traditional Jew, I can appreciate the value of history.
But it's a nickel.
